Apparition consequences

image_pdfimage_print

While the Marian apparitions can, sometimes, seem like insignificant stories told by children without culture who tell of experiences of encounters with a lady on a remote mountain, they have had a significant effect in the Roman Catholic Church.

The consequences of these apparitions:

  • They have led the Catholic Church to flow into Marianism and move from the central figure of Jesus to his Mother as the mediator of grace.
  • The conversion of millions of people to Roman Catholicism.
  • The construction of some of the largest Marian churches that have ever existed before.
  • The formation of the largest Marian movements that have ever existed before.
  • The spread of the dogmas and doctrines of Marian devotion.
  • Pilgrimages of hundreds of millions of people to the places where the apparitions were reported.

Considerations

E’ ascertained that during the first centuries there were no references to Marian devotion among the first Christians, nor the apostles, nor did Jesus ever give directions about praying to Mary or others. Rather, the Bible condemns such practices. E’ it is obvious that the Marian doctrines arose later, over the centuries, following these apparitions. All this suggests that the devout and humble mother of Jesus is not behind the apparitions, but the enemy.

Why this?

Why the Bible, which is the Word of God, does not talk about it, indeed it condemns such practices;

Because the early Christians never dreamed of worshiping anyone other than God, making Christianity a monotheistic pagan religion;

Because the church fathers were against this popular doctrine;

Because the devil has been a deceiver from the very beginning and has always shown himself in different guises throughout history;

Why the devil, also called “angel of light” in the Bible, is capable of healing (see Job) “œsigns and wonders to seduce even the elect”;

Because the devil is so cunning as to mix truth and falsehood to seduce, just as he did with Adam and Eve;

Because the devil is breaking, to the Marian devotees, the first and second commandments of God, leading them to idolatry and damnation, clouding their minds;

Why, in messages, the apparition never recognized the name of Jesus saying that it is “God came in the flesh” (and the Bible tells us that this is the sign of heavenly messengers from God). The apparition was limited to carrying messages of peace, secrets, and tears from him and from the Son.

Because the devil is cunning and he knows he can't grab souls by saying ““I am Satan, come after me!” so he found a method that works great.

Because God allows him to test us, as it is written in the Bible.

Remember: not everything that glitters is gold! If you believe you are a true Christian, you would do well to investigate Scripture, because you can't trust your heart, which is a heart filled with sin ever since original sin entered the world. You need the discernment that only God can give you in his WORD.
