Why divisions in the Church that Christ founded?

image_pdfimage_print

Jesus said that Christians should not be divided but must form a single family, we must only follow Him, nobody else, nor the apostle Paul, even though he himself followed Jesus, nor others, the same goes for Mary, mother of Jesus, and others who came after.

Now, brothers, I urge you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and not to have divisions among you, but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same way of thinking and feeling. Indeed, my brothers, I was told by those of Chloe's household that there are contentions among you. I mean that each of you says: «I am from Paolo»; «I of Apollo»; «I of Cephas»; «I of Christ». Is Christ divided? Paul is perhaps crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? (1 Corinthians 10-13)

The only one to follow is Christ, and it must be said “Only Christ! I am with Christ!” and not “I follow Mary who will lead me to Christ!” or “I follow Saint Paul or Saint Ambrose or Saint Joseph or Padre Pio who will lead me to Christ!”. God forbids intermediaries, the only intermediary is Jesus Christ and there are no others. We must not think that it is the same to turn to others in prayer, because if you think about it, it would be the same as a polytheistic religion. As well as the gods of Olympus: there was Venus for heart problems, Mars for war victories, etc., so the same in Catholicism is Saint Lucia for eye problems, Saint Anthony protector of animals and children, and an endless list of patron saints to whom to appeal in time of need. Even the gods of Olympus eventually had Jupiter (Zeus) who made final decisions and was more powerful than the other gods. So in the Catholic religion there is God at the head, and then angels, saints and madonnas following. You don't think so’ strange? All the more so because these are called pagan practices in the Bible and it forbids them. In Heaven there is no hierarchy, there are no saints and dead. In Heaven there is only God the Father and Jesus who sits on the right hand of the Father, and then the servants: the Angels.

As we read in the first letter to the Corinthians, only Christ was crucified and only He must be followed, directly, without looking for other intermediaries, as He never commanded them (1Timoteo 2:5).

In fact there is only one God and also only one mediator between God and men, The man Christ Jesus.

It is not the Protestants a non wanting to follow the teachings of Jesus, but unfortunately they are the Catholics, they find “broad streets” to reach Him. But hadn't Jesus said that the way to get to Him was the narrow way?

Enter through the narrow door, for wide is the door and wide is the way that leads to perdition, and many are those who enter through it. On the other hand, the door is narrow and the way that leads to life is narrow, and few are those who find it. (Matteo 7:13-14)

So it would be the case to follow His Word without wandering and inventing strange doctrines, which are only the fruit of human precepts.

God condemns human traditions and teachings that are not contained in the Scriptures:

«See that no one makes you his prey with philosophy and with vain deception, according to the tradition of men and the elements of the world, and not according to Christ " (Colossesi 2,8)

The Faith was transmitted once and for all to the Apostles:

"Faith has been transmitted once and for all to the saints" (Judas v. 3).

The doctrines added later are false:

«In vain do they make me a cult, teaching doctrines which are the precepts of men … thus nullifying the Word of God with your tradition, that you have handed down " (Marco 7,7-13).

God admonishes and calls “cursed” who makes changes to the message of Scripture:

But even if we or an angel from heaven announced you a different gospel than the one we announced to you, be anathema.

As we have already said, I repeat it again even now: if someone preaches to you a gospel other than the one you have received, be anathema. (Galati 1:8-9)

E’ note that it says “also an angel from heaven”! If the messages presented by this angel or apparition, in this case “mariana” they are contrary to Scripture, it is obvious that these are messages that do not come from God.

Throughout the section “APPARITIONS” Marian messages are analyzed.

A Reform was needed in the Catholic Church, because after the first few centuries he began to drift away from the righteous doctrines and teachings of Christ, who had already warned the apostles that also among them, among his disciples, later there would be those who would teach false doctrines far from God's Word.

In fact we read in the Second Letter of Peter, chapter 2 verses 1,2,3:

But there were also false prophets among the people, as there will also be among you false doctors who will secretly introduce heresies of perdition, e, denying the Lord who redeemed them, they will bring immediate ruin upon themselves.

Many will follow them in their debauchery; and because of them the way of truth will be vilified.

In their greed they will exploit you with false words; but their condemnation has been at work for some time and their ruin will not be expected.
